Kathleen Jantzen, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist who specializes in conducting Neuropsychological and Psychoeducational Evaluations on children, adolescents, and young adults who have learning differences, cognitive deficits, neurological, and psychological disorders.

Dr. Jantzen received her Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University in 1992. Dr. Jantzen completed her Internship in Psychology at Yale Psychiatric Institute and received her Post-Doctoral Degree in Psychology at Yale School of Medicine. She has been a licensed Psychologist since 1995. She was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at NYU Langone Medical Center from 2014 to 2023. She was previously a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center from 1996 to 2014, where she taught and trained psychology externs and interns in neuropsychological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment of patients for many years. Dr. Jantzen started the first Neuropsychology Program at NYU Bellevue Hospital in 1996. She also supervised students in Neuropsychological Testing at Mount Sinai Hospital in addition to conducting numerous Neuropsychological Evaluations over the years at other medical centers.

Dr. Jantzen has extensive experience in guiding parents with finding appropriate school placement for their child, devising individualized education plans that can be utilized by parents, teachers, and therapists and collaborating with other professionals to enhance their child’s approach to learning.

Dr. Jantzen also provides supportive therapy and CBT to children, adolescents, and young adults. She works closely with families during treatment.

Dr. Jantzen has published on a wide variety of topics in Neuropsychology. She is a highly sought after speaker in the areas of remediation for ADHD, LD, Dyslexia, and Memory Enhancement Strategies. She is a frequent lecturer in the tri-state area for MENSA, Academic and Medical Institutions, Business Organizations, and staff development for schools.
