My Approach

Facing challenges in school can be difficult. I want to help your child/adolescent and family overcome these hurdles. I can determine accurate diagnoses for your child to help understand where their difficulties lie and suggest solutions to help you navigate the problems they may be having in school. I want to help your child/adolescent find the best strategies and accommodations for academic success. Each child/adolescent learns differently and I am here to assist you with recommendations to optimize their education.  I will work closely with your family, suggesting strategies that you can utilize to help your child/adolescent in school, home, and social settings.

It is important for me to meet each child/adolescent where they are, intellectually and emotionally with care and gentle reassurance. I want to make each child/adolescent feel comfortable during testing sessions by respecting their individual needs and differences to achieve an accurate assessment and diagnosis.

I care about letting parents know every step in the Neuropsychological Evaluation and as such will spend a great deal of time in the feedback session. In the feedback session, I provide recommendations, educational options, accommodations, and the best methods to help work towards resolving your child/adolescent’s educational needs. I frequently provide resources/specialists for you to work with, and I can also speak to any professionals you know upon your request. I am always happy to be available to your family at any point in the future if you need further assistance. I like to touch base with you on your child/adolescent’s progress after the evaluation to see how they are doing on their educational journey.

Furthermore, therapy sessions are tailored to address the needs of the individual and their family, providing a structured and supportive environment to meet the goals of treatment. To this end, I am available on an ongoing basis to assist you and your family.
