Therapy Process & Outcome

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist, I provide a nurturing and supportive environment in working with individuals and families. My style and approach is warm and interactive, and therapy is tailored to address the needs of the child/adolescent and their family, as well as adults. Utilizing a broad focus of evidence-based treatment to best suit an individual in the areas they are struggling in, I incorporate an eclectic, psychodynamic, supportive approach, as well as CBT with children, adolescents, and young adults. I assist parents with communicating more effectively with their children and offer parent counseling, parent coaching, and consultation to help parents navigate educational systems.

My focus on developing goal-directed interventions helps bring about positive changes for improved functioning in school, work, and relationships. This can include changing negative patterns of thinking and developing coping strategies and positive habits of thinking about yourself needed to function well. These interventions are particularly beneficial if one is experiencing anxiety, depression, learning challenges, executive functioning difficulties, academic and behavioral problems, social disconnection, and ADHD. Additionally, I work with young adults struggling with relationships, anxiety, careers, attention and executive functioning issues, life decisions, and transitions.

I also provide effective strategies for all ages in memory enhancement techniques, executive functioning skills, as well as study and test-taking skills.

With my many years of working with individuals and families, I have acquired broad knowledge in the field of psychology. Together, we can work collaboratively to develop a plan of action to assist your child/adolescent and family in having success in all areas of life.
